Course Objectives

To enable delegates to:

• Understand the need for the correct tools and techniques in the planning and control cycle
• Compile and justify the project and activity estimates
• Construct Gantt charts and carry out critical path analysis
• Evaluate and review/replan where necessary

Course Content

• Planning: The tools, techniques and methods of planning the project through its life cycle is examined and practised.
• Analysis: Risk analysis, Gantt charts and Critical path analysis are discussed and performed.
• Control: Control and review techniques and tools are considered and applied during the case studies.
• Case Study: Delegates will undertake simulated case studies to practice their skill. Feedback is given to improve their skills and techniques
